Details about my situation:
The orthodontists basically fucked me over because they took out two teeth top and bottom before the process of braces. (ima sue those fuckers) I used to have nice cheekbones as a kid in all my old photos right up until after that where my whole face has fucking continued descending in just about every way. During this process of braces i also likely developed sleep apnea and have been sleep deprived for about 2 years. I haven't had any sleep studies yet so it is not confirmed however i have heard different opinions on whether they can properly test for sleep apnea. I also developed bad tmj on both sides and i am not sure if i will require another surgery other than some form of palatal expansion + bimax to fix it or if that will be enough. luckily i think surgeons can check what is causing my tmj if i go to the right one.
I have had one consultation with a jaw surgeon and i got scans of my skull done at the time. From that the surgeon i do have a deviated septum (not sure if its relevant) and also somewhat of an airway obstruction. Surgery is apparently not necessary (fuck that) but the surgeon also recommended marpe for palatal expansion whether i get the surgery or not to happen during wisdom teeth removal. I'm not sure which way of surgically assisting palatal expansion is the best but i know some is necessary for the process or bimax wont really work.
I would appreciate some advice on the best way of surgically assisting palatal expansion since my sutures are fused.
That aside i also dont know if there are any surgeons i can really trust or if i will just get a shit result. I would need one in VIC Australia and i realised i dont know enough about jaw surgery to be able to just tell them how many mm of upper and lower jaw advancement and what ccw rotation i need for a good result. I dont even know if i can trust them to give me the right amounts of these instead of just minimum.
I really either need advice on a surgeon i can trust for good results in VIC AU or good advice on how much advancement for both jaws and how much ccw rotation.
