Nah its true because it weakens the cartilage and then gets wider a little, just like how old peoples noses get wider from less collagen

My nose isnt proportionate to my face width as it was before puberty

It does, I had a rhino and noticed it was smaller right after the surgery, and it got slightly bigger over time.
