not really... lifting is braindead easy and you'll lose fat and build muscle while eating the same amount as before. dieting is way harder than picking shit up and putting it down lol

Yea lifting weights has really helped me lower my body fat % and increase my muscle mass %. And I don't even lift for muscle mass. I lift to build muscle endurance. I use 15 lb dumb bells and even that was enough for me to build SOME muscle mass because I live an otherwise sedentary basement dwelling NEET lifestyle (and I'm confirmed low T via blood work) and I had very little muscle to begin with. My muscle mass % is still below 40% (for men it should be at least 40%) but it's higher than it used to be. I am focusing mostly on toning and muscle endurance now. I lost more body fat % than I gained muscle mass % by doing lots of reps of the smaller weights. And there are exercises you can do with dumb bells to work your core. And also crunches are cheap and easy. Since you're using your core muscles to lift your own body weight.

You don't need to get a gym membership. If you are a newb at lifting, I would recommend investing in 25 lb dumb bells. You can work your entire body just with dumb bells if you wanted to pretty much if you don't want to spend a lot of money on a home gym. 15 lbs if you are a low T sedentary basement dweller like me. Look up exercises for working your arms, shoulders and core. You can do chest, back and legs if you want. I skip those. Neglecting the back might be fucking me up because I temporarily injured my lower back recently. Lots of gymcels focus on everything. But honestly the bitches only really care about your arms, abs and shoulders. And whenever women talk about shoulders, they talk about broad shoulders (frame). Frame (genetics) is a different matter than muscle. I have naturally broad shoulders and I work the shoulders just in case.

I should be getting on Test E (since my low T is probably affecting other aspects of my life. Like my erectile dysfunction issues, low energy, depression, anxiety, etc). Test E would really help me to build muscle mass and lose body fat. But I'm afraid of needles and hair loss.
