Unlikely to happen to you but i get why you’re feeling worried especially after the crash. When are you going and what’s your route?

For some reason it usually happens. Are you hooked to sit in the back?

Everyone says boing (yes I’m calling it boing from now on) planes are crap
Especially the max (I was on one this year and it’s fucking noisy)

the issues with the one that kept crashing are supposedly resolved but the cheaping out on parts and shit is obvious at this rate im actually considering switching flights / planes

whistleblowers getting suicided n shit.....

but i kept reading boeing as the most comfortable for long haul like the 787, but airbuses being superior

Are you taking the same route? I’m confused what this route has to do with us to Europe flights as jeju air usually only operates in Asia and Australia? Unless if you’re Australian?

Always get to the back if you can. Usually if I’m forced to pay I’m always forced in the middle

Is this the 737 max (the recent plane crash) or a different make? Since I know the max is the forever faulty one
Tbh on my last trip I was mostly on airbuses

Airbuses mog tbh

yes the 737 kept crashing cuz of pilots fighting the maneuvering system or something

The plane model or the airline?

Im not gonna lie
Before a trip to Korea I took last eye at l was autistically reading plane crash reports from the ntsb
And again for a trip I took earlier this year

That’s the one! And in the us people are still scared of flying the max
The max is a VERY common plane mode in Asia
Even Ryanair flies them now

Which ones have you seen?

The Boeing 737-800 attempted a belly landing at around 9:03am local time after its landing gear reportedly failed to deploy.

Witnesses reported hearing loud “bang” noises before the aircraft struck the airport’s perimeter wall, breaking into two pieces and bursting into flames. Local broadcaster MBC aired footage that appears to show a bird strike incident as the plane was descending. An investigation into the cause of the crash is ongoing.
If the death toll is confirmed, this would be South Korea’s worst domestic civil aviation disaster and marks the first major casualty incident involving a low-cost carrier in the country’s history, reports the JoongAng Ilbo.

i think the "good" thing about shit like this is that boeing REALLY has to up its checks otherwise they're fucking cooked no one will fly on their planes, so im hoping there will be very thorough maintenance checks ...... surely :forcedsmile::forcedsmile::forcedsmile: (cope)

what i dont understand about this video is why did the plane even attempt to land in the first place?

im no pilot so maybe theres a logical explanation but would it have been a better idea to divert the plane to another airport with a runway not housing a fuckin concrete wall at the end? or even make a turn in a direction where survival would be more likely ?

cant the pilots test the landing gear before landing ?

like wtf is going on here

Aircraft

The aircraft involved while still operated by Ryanair
The aircraft involved was a Boeing 737-8AS[a] manufactured in 2009,[2] registered as HL8088.[3][4] The aircraft was first operated by Ryanair, before it was delivered to Jeju Air in 2017.[5][6]

“Chads”

Passengers and crew

Of the 175 passengers, two were Thai nationals and the other 173 were South Korean.[23][24] Most of the passengers were returning home from a five-day long Christmas package tour to Bangkok, with the travel agency organizing the tour having chartered the plane for the tour.[25] At least 85 people were confirmed dead and two people were rescued from the wreckage.[26][27] The survivors were a flight attendant and a woman.[20][28]The remaining 94 passengers and crew were presumed dead by firefighting authorities.[22]

Why don’t you think you’re lucky?
cuz of many health issues and anatomical issues that most ppl dont have even one of but i have many

The number of survivors remains at 2, both crew members, one male and one female, according to the on-site fire service team.
