As I begin to hit my late 20s, I've started to notice some wrinkling beginning to form on the outside of my eyes. At first, I thought I was just getting old and started doubling down on skincare. This has made my skin look a lot better but these specific wrinkles persisted. Then I did some research and found out there are really many ways you can wrinkle, not just through aging, expressions, sun damage. In fact, you can wrinkle your skin purely by the act of sleeping and your skin folding in the same places again and again, with the pressure of your skull pressing the folds in.

What am I doing about this?

- Using a low friction pillowcase material. Cotton grips your face like a mf and also sucks the moisture out of your skin.
- Trying to fall asleep on my back. Not sure if this does much good as you unconsciously shift about while sleeping. There are apparently pillows which lock your head in place, but this is too far for me tbh.

I've seen very good results from the above tbh, but still feel like I can do a bit more.

- I believe if I stick a pair of plasters/bandaids underneath my eyes before I sleep, the skin shouldn't be able to wrinkle at all.

Going to start doing this tonight and will keep you guys updated on my progress.

Sorry no pics, can't risk getting doxxed.

Just sleep without a pillow.

But this random image I found on google says the opposite

Haven't slept with a pillow for over 11 months. Cage at the jew example used.

Tuck your head forward slightly so you're more or less sleeping on your neck.

Never had a single neck or back problem sleeping without a pillow even with my neck straight like the picture shown, if anything, it's been better.

What was your original reason for ditching the pillows?
