i don't like him as a DJ, doesn't play this type of music at all during his sets but the more trendy techno instead tbh, akin to hardstyle.Ah yes reinier
I love him.Have you tried dj swisher man
glad you liked those 2.Very nice. First two are perfect.
amsterdam?I love him.
Saw him live too.
Awesome! What are your favourite tracks from him?Great set he played, very groovy.

But he has some good released singles on his name, this one also:
nah diff city, small-scale.amsterdam?
dont know any of his tracks, just know that I loved his set and the music he played.Awesome! What are your favourite tracks from him?
ye he is completely mainstream techno. those songs I posted here is his old sound when he wasn't mainstream. Is he more mainstream?
Fair enoughnah diff city, small-scale.
I'm NGL, pushin keys and take that (from swishity swish) mogdont know any of his tracks, just know that I loved his set and the music he played.
I would see him again if I see his name playing anywhere near me.
Oh god, lemme guess, the edm-like hard"techno"?ye he is completely mainstream techno. those songs I posted here is his old sound when he wasn't mainstream.
now that he is super-mainstream he doesn't play this type of techno anymore.
I mean, I enjoyed it when I was there in Amsterdam. Nice light-show too in this location. But it's not necessairly the techno I vibe with the best.Oh god, lemme guess, the edm-like hard"techno"?
Not too bad here at all but it kinda has that dimitri vegas style dropI mean, I enjoyed it when I was there in Amsterdam. Nice light-show too in this location. But it's not necessairly the techno I vibe with the best.
This was me seeing reineer in 2022. idk how his sound progressed since then but I can only assume the worst:

groovy hard-techno is amazing man, I love it.Fair enough
I'm NGL, pushin keys and take that (from swishity swish) mog
I actually prefer groovy hard groove over hard techno these days
idk about dimitri vegas style drops, but reineer had a lot of drops indeed. Not too bad here at all but it kinda has that dimitri vegas style drop
Same here, do you know about Seigg?groovy hard-techno is amazing man, I love it.
fernanda martins? triptykh?I also love good industrial/dark hard-techno, but this has been increasingly rare to find.
NGL, since B3000 popped off and went downhill (the Americans love them) then things have gotten badThe hard-techno DJs who used to be more industrial/dark have all goten onto the tiktok techno bandwagon.
Paula Temple for example, used to play hard-techno like this:
Very dark, industrial hard-techno. Amazing sound. One of the best in the genre.
This is aightI saw paula temple myself in 2023 and she played this type of hard-techno:

I agreeI enjoyed it a lot, don't get me wrong. But let's be honest, this is totally a different vibe than from the katharsis 2019 video.
I've noticed Americans are into the tiktok techno A LOT for some reason yet find actual hard techno a bit iffy. Like so many Americans were at B3000 and Sara showsIt's a more 'easy' form of techno more suitable for the masses.
Is Amsterdam Dance Event not recommended because of mainstreamness or could you give it a shot? Because I remember at uni I talked to the managers of what was there and they claimed "we don't play mainstream like Tiesto, but we love underground stuff like Chris Lorenzo!"It's too bad but I can't complain honestly. The techno scene is expanding so fast, there's so many events in the netherlands, you can find any sound you want if you are willing to travel a bit.
Dimitri Vegas is popular in the States among frat brosidk about dimitri vegas style drops, but reineer had a lot of drops indeed.
No wonder I gravitated towards early 1990s hard tranceAnd me personally? I dislike drops. A few of them is fine, but i need more constant beat, rhythm, buildup, hypnotic sounds, etc.
One of my fav industrial hard-techno artists I like is Tham, who used to play a sound like this:
This sounds fucking amazing to me, insanely good.
I haven't seen him live yet, just not had the opportunity yet unfortunately. But i've seen some of his recent sets and his vibe became way less dark/industrial too, way more mainstream which I dislike.
Oh well, at least I can enjoy his past releases, amazing songs. He has some great sets out there too which I re-listen.
This one is one of my favs from Tham. Love it. Then he also has the Griesmuhle set on Hor which has like 4mil views lol.
That sucks big time.Just too sad that he has gone also on that more mainstream sound instead of those dark-industrial vibes.
Paula Temple for example, used to play hard-techno like this in 2019:
Very dark, industrial hard-techno. Amazing sound. One of the best in the genre.
dont know these names unfortunately. Are they good?Same here, do you know about Seigg?
fernanda martins? triptykh?
yeah sara landry is typical tiktok hard-techno. B3000 never seen live, but I like a few of their songs. Never listened to a set of their ngl.NGL, since B3000 popped off and went downhill (the Americans love them) then things have gotten bad
and sara landry is a sellout
Yes man, that's the fucking shit. Now imagine being in a fucking warehouse with those lights shining in your face and being on drugs too holy fuck.HOLY SHIT THIS is what I love
myeah its okayThis is aight
I mean it's the same here. Even in the netherlands, real techno-music isn't 'mainstream' at all. Like they don't play it in your local popular clubs, etc. You need to find specific venues which play techno music. And only the big cities in the netherlands would even have such a venue playing techno on a random friday/saturday.I agree
I've noticed Americans are into the tiktok techno A LOT for some reason yet find actual hard techno a bit iffy. Like so many Americans were at B3000 and Sara shows
I mean ADE is a MASSIVE event. You can find any type of music there which you are interested in. Big mainstream parties will have big mainstream music. But the event is so big, so many locations, so many different parties, different vibes, Amsterdam Dance Event has something for everyone's taste. It's hundreds of different parties in one week.Is Amsterdam Dance Event not recommended because of mainstreamness or could you give it a shot? Because I remember at uni I talked to the managers of what was there and they claimed "we don't play mainstream like Tiesto, but we love underground stuff like Chris Lorenzo!"
Chris Lorenzo JFL
Dimitri Vegas is popular in the States among frat bros
I mean come on this sounds watered down as hell:
yeah that shit is great. What's ur favourite? No wonder I gravitated towards early 1990s hard trance
Pretty awesome!
IDK I'm more into very hard hitting stuff that's also hypnotic as you said. The higher the bpm the better (unless if it's groovy stuff which needs to be more vibey)
That sucks big time.
