Yeah a fade. Your sides are too puffy and give you a mushroom look. Either grow them long enough that they fall under their own weight or a fade.

I think his facial hair frames his lower third well. Isn't messy. His is well groomed and has very even growth. Mine is a lot messier and make me look like some vagabond if forget trimming for even a day.
