If you had to be at least 18, the nature of the forum would change; this place would become more valuable, which would in turn attract new crowds of people. Obviously, it will never happen, but just some thoughts.

I still think most normies where I am (Southern US) are pretty bluepilled. 100%, unrestricted internet access is what made younger me so insecure, looking back i was never even made fun of by anyone for my appearance, theres just been a couple comments here and there but its normal at school

It certainly isn't with men. But truth be told, I didn't even really know what plastic surgery was when I was 14-16. I am sure I had some idea, but it was superficial at best. But the scope of knowledge about these things for teens now is far wider.

In the past, it was viewed as solely a problem that's to do with women. Male eating disorders are definitely now on the rise, which is especially concerning since it's starting to affect young people at unprecedented levels too.

I mean, just look at this forum, I suspect at least 40% of people here have some form of an eating disorder or are on track to.

For me it started with being complexed about my acne and skintone (I am not even dark, somewhat light for South Asian standards even - like light brown when untanned and medium brown tanned, was pale olive in my youth as a child). I got hit with pretty bad acne at age 11-12. Then I started visiting skin bleaching forums. Mind you, most of these forums were usually women and usually Black women, and I don't recall seeing many men on there. But there was still a lot of insane stuff like people using intense creams such as monobenzone and steroid creams to achieve pretty drastic results.
