If you have parents and you are cool with them and you're over 18, there is no reason why you shouldn't ask them to help you find someone.

I asked my father to help me and it worked... I had my first gf in elementary school thanks to my father JFL

I was 10yo tho

my mom offered me to marry one of her friends' daughter when she turns 18 (she's 17 now and I'm 22), but I declined because I can already picture myself having a panic attack when I try to have a conversation with her and especially when I meet her parents (I will probably die of a heart attack) and also I don't see the point of trying because she will dump me anyway. If I can't keep a girl without my parents' help, then neither I can with their help
