Posermaxxing is when you model your looks and aesthetics based on an already popular, similar-looking celebrity or person of interest.
I don't need to tell you why this works; it's water, but I'm going to share my personal story to better illustrate what exactly I mean.
I went on ChatGPT and asked, "who my celebrity look-alike was" and it showed me a couple of people. You have to have decent levels of self-awareness and pick the person you realistically look like. I better not see a comment about someone trying to model their looks after Ian Somerhalder. Obviously, that's retarded and not at all what I'm trying to say here. For example, I'm South Asian and GPT told me I look like some white guy, obviously. I can't model my looks after a race I'm not even a part of. The closest person I got was Avan Jogia.
This is mostly for greycells, i.e. myself, so that when we are starting our LM journey, we can have a reference frame as to what we could work on by looking at the already famous person and seeing what types of features and styles were the most popular when they did it. Go on Reddit and go to VindictaRateCelebs and Ladyboners and search that person up. See what they are saying about them, what features they like the most, what style was the worst, etc. etc. This is a much faster way of figuring out what you need to work on versus going on an incel forum like this one and asking a bunch of guys who have never sniffed a cunt in their lives about what you should work on. Yes, obviously the guy you are modeling yourself after will probably mog you for the time being, but that's the point. You need a visual goal to strive towards so you can clearly see if you are making progress or not.
If you are low IQ then do not do this because you don't understand the nuance in differentiating yourself versus the person you are modelling yourself after. Certain things will work for you and not them, versus them and not you.
All in all, this is a crude but quick way to start off trying to improve your looks and having that scaffolding there to guide you.
TLDR:
USE CELEB LOOK-ALIKE AS SCAFFOLDING FOR YOUR LOOKSMAXING JOURNEY
HAVE ABOVE ROOM TEMP IQ AND UNDERSTAND NUANCE AND BE ABLE TO DIFFERENTIATE WHAT'S POSSIBLE FOR YOU AND WHAT WORKS FOR YOU
HAVE FUN
