Everywhere you go people do things just to try to impress others and because they think its "cool". I was looking in the mirror today and some normie said I was doing a "sigma face" and "mewing" while laughing when I was just looking at my skin. I despise these wannabe tiktok goths the most tho. There's one who kinda led me on a few years ago, always dressed in some new tiktok poser shit. She goes to the poorest areas of my town to pose with a skateboard with other loser friends when they cannot even skateboard. They think smoking is the coolest thing ever which is also stupid. Months ago I was bored and called to hang out with that group so I pull up ages later and one girl, the main poser, starts fainting and shit after a while from smoking not even one of those things. Another thing that annoys me is she has a HUGE bisexual flag in her room and when I asked about it admitted she wasn't really. They just think stuff is cool and hop on the band wagon to make up for lack of personality in my opinion, I know most normies do it but still its very annoying.
Heres another example. I am a big fan of comics and have shelves of them in my house and a lot of the clothes I wear are dc comics related. Anyway I wore this batman belt to school a few times and I got loads of compliments, anyway people come up to me and start asking where I got it from and I was reluctant to say until I eventually told ONE guy the name of the company as long as he didn't get the same belt as me and got some other brand they had or whatever. I forgot about it and then I see his tiktok post ages later with this guy in a batman belt when he knows NOTHING about it. He just went "muh batman is tuff" and bought it instantly, then he told other people just to annoy me as I was getting annoyed. So thats just great that nobody can have something thats not a trend now.
In conclusion if you are a fan of something it won't be long before it is swarmed with normies at some point in the future. Hopefully DC comics doesn't go tiktok trend mainstream although it could do. Forget any band or music as one tiktok audio makes them "Tiktok music taste"
