No problem. I plan on doing the same as well. I lack bigonial width but my lower mandible is sharp and chin is square. My jaw holds me back heavily as well (likely doing MSE then Bimax and Genio and then after all the healing, that very chin wing I said).

distraction osteogenesis -> MSE -> osteotomy -> implants -> fat grafting.

but osteotomy and implant is almost always enough for a recessed low-tier normie or basic subhuman

Distraction makes more sense after MSE to expand the mandible rather than before.
