Fucked up yesterday and binge ate massive amounts of sugar + sodium. Decided to try potassium for the first time, Grabbed this from Walmart for like 6 dollars. It’s potassium chloride powder. A whole teaspoon of it contains 2760mg of potassium chloride, or 1380mg of elemental potassium. Took some of this along w magnesium glycinate, chugged water, went to sleep. Expected to wake up bloated but surprisingly my face actually looked good. Be warned that it tastes putrid as fuck, dissolve in a small amount of water and chug water immediately after swallowing. Unpleasant but goes away quickly.

Lol I guess. If you have no bones I don’t know what to tell you though. I have ogre bones but after drinking, over consuming sugar, etc my face still gets puffy and my ogee curve gets a lot flatter. So in that scenario potassium helps

Have you seasoned food with potassium chloride?

Unfortunately I’m in college on a dining hall meal plan so I don’t prepare and season my own food. I’ve just been taking scoops of the No-Salt and slamming it with water.

When I drink it, it tastes salty as fuck though, so it probably works well to season food with. That’s what the product is intended for anyways

You didn't even describe the taste of it

This is a “5 posts 5 reputation” hood classic. Potassium is a mineral, you don’t build a tolerance to it

It doesn’t taste like rotting meat or anything it’s just a mineral so it tastes unpleasantly salty, literally like sodium chloride. Powdered magnesium is the same way.

I meant that, if you consume too much potassium so your potassium to sodium ratio has a huge difference, your body will try to balance this ratio again, so you will need more and more potassium, which probably won't be too healthy

I’m going to college in the fall, ik every school is different but do they have a variety of healthy foods and meats? I try not to eat anything that’s super processed and stick to shit like eggs and meat. Tryna leanbulk throughout the 4 years.

My school fucking sucks but most of the time it’s hard to get in enough protein especially from lean sources. I have to do shit like eat sandwiches and burgers without the bread or take 3 eggs from the salad bar. Hopefully your schools dining hall is better
