I recently made a big thread which i might ask to be put into the botb based on how it performs, about coloring & contrast

I did this because I'm a graphic designer, and coloring has interested my t50 brown haired self for a while

what are some other thread ideas that have an interesting rabbithole? or just something you've been curious about for a while?

Like actually or just a hobby
Actual, it was my job when I took a gap year from school, back to doing school now & I'm doing a 2 year in one program to get my diploma. Then i'll see what i do & where i go

I still do freelancing under my irl name

Oh that's awesome, my brother got first place for graphic design at one of those gigantic national contests, but now he's a python programmer :pepefrown:

sounds like a huge project, have you got any specific adhd meds in mind? I've got some time to dive into this for the next few days

kinda depends where ur knowledge base is at, though I assume from ur above response ud likely do more research regardless if its foreign to you or not.

Biology & Chemistry have both always had my interest, therefore doing more research into whatever i do plan on making a guide on will be needed but also fun to me, I got a nice thrill from diving into the color & contrast theory rabbithole and I'm looking for that thrill again in another topic.

makes sense; btw on the topic of coloring/contrast, I think more can be said about undertones and potential modification (rather having the appearance of cooler undertones while having warm and vice-versa). Key words here would be increasing RBC, pheomelanin/eumelanin ratio, etc. Would be nice to have a formal analysis of this beyond supplements like Lycopene, Astaxanthin, etc.

I've already started working on an extended version of it while i figure out what else to do, i'll def keep this in mind

Thanks!

hearing pheomelanin & eumelanin gave me flashbacks to when i did research on eye colors (i was trying to cope with my t30's), I'll see if i can include some knowledge i had from an old google doc about it into the new guide, thanks for reminding me too :p

Sounds good, do tag me in that extended version if you get the chance I found ur first thread on coloring/contrast quite nice and useful.

and yeah I remember some threads discussing more about this relation (Elbastardo, some of @AscendingHero 's posts, etc). I do remember a user here took high doses of MSM for a few months and supposedly went from T40 to T07, which is interesting. Did you happen to lighten from T30?

Also just one last point, wanted to message you here directly while we're on the same page; saw ur post on another recent thread about having an analysis on region based preferences for the ideal skintone which I believe would be quite beneficial for people to gauge since there doesn't seem to be one single universal preference here. I think perhaps having some type of ranking going from the "perfect" skintone to "good" to "over" tier (region based) would be interesting, though that may be a bit too extensive not sure.

I attempted to make a weird version of elbastardo's formula, I didn't get any results although I wouldn't say I worked on it enough to expect any.

Once I'm financially well-off again I'll retry it and document my progress, last time was a bit of a mess

feel free to private message me if needed, A ranking system sounds interesting, I don't think i'd be able to make it region based since that would require multiple lists as to my understanding, but creating a tierlist sort of segment in the thread isn't a bad idea, i'll keep that in mind

Sounds good, do tag me in that extended version if you get the chance
sure thing!
