my dentist said that to fix my overjet is NOT suggested to do surgery. What he suggested me it's to remove upper premolar so the maxilla can go back. what yall think?

oh boy. i hope it's a troll but in case it's not, you need jaw surgery, not upper premolar extractions

sadly it's not a troll. im a bit scared of the surgery tbh. but on the other side i think it's the only solution. i don't even know if should i have an only low jaw or a double one...

You need double, for maximising the advancement via rotation and maybe even advancing the upper jaw as well

Never retract, that ortho is a blue pilled retard,

Orthodontists who would do this to kids made me loose faith in humanity.

Surgery isn’t risky because of the modern technologythey, they plan it with 3D scans down to nanometers.

I’m assuming if you straighten your neck you cannot breathe and may have sleep apnea. Definitely get it checked out.

Go to the ortho again, just ignore there blue pilled ramblings and say you want a second opinion from a structural based clinic and get a referral.

thanks for your accuracy. i also thought to never retract, i mean, why would i ever extraxct 2 good teeth btw? insane idea. Also i don't have problems realted to breathing. only this horrible overjet. i also try to put my lower jaw forward by "faking it". but i don't get a nice result as you can see attached. i also didnt know the existence of referral. im assuming they make me pay less
