I’ve just done my first pin of Retatrutide at about 5mg.

I am injecting HGH tomorrow.

I am using Reta to improve insulin sensitivity and boost my metabolism. It’s appetite suppressing effects, which have immediately started taking effect (on top of highly irritating nausea), it may be placebo I’m not sure but I have no desire for food.

Obviously this is not ideal as I am trying to lean bulk, so my question is if there is anything that can be done about this? is there anything that can cancel out reta’s appetite suppression without also clashing with HGH and growth signals or causing any other significant issue.

Now I suspect some of you may say mk677 but I am a bit worried about its effects on insulin sensitivity, especially when paired on top of rHGH, because mk suppresses insulin secretion whilst increasing the demand for it (via appetite increase thus higher caloric intake), and I have a family history of type 2 diabetes so I have been fearmongered a bit.

You cannot try to create fire with water. You are taking exactly the opposite of what you want to achieve. Take mk677 may help but its kinda dumb

well then what can I do to improve insulin sensitivity? Metformin and berberine reduce igf-1 and inhibit mTOR

You already injected it so no, but you can wait to inject hgh and use this week to test your sensitivity to the reta. If you notice low appetite suppression this week then keep 5mg and inject high, if you notice mild then lower dose to 3-4mg, if you notice severe then lower dose to 1-2mg. Doing this will suppress your appetite enough to where you eat in a slight-mild surplus so you reap the benefits of high but you don't become a fat ogre.

The issue is that most of reta’s health benefits including it’s effects on insulin sensitivity seemed to occur at 4mg in the studies

“how prevent staying awake while taking meth”

The best way to not suppress your appetite is to not take a weight loss drug, jfl. There are other ways to improve insulin sensitivity besides reta.

Not a very good idea in the first place, stuffing yourself when you have delayed gastric emptying is a bit..

See the highest dosage you can manage to bulk on I suppose, just know it’ll be torturous.

The reta benefits you want don’t have some magical dosage threshold they have to pass to start working, you should still get them at lower doses.

Well I’m just going based off the dosage shown in the studies, surely if it has similar benefits at lower doses they would be noted?

doesn’t matter bc your pinning exogenous gh anyway
Metformin is anti-anabolic via its mechanism of action, exogenous hgh doesn’t significantly offset that to the point where it’s not a concern

Well the trials are done on obese people, they start low and titrate up, from what I remember they didn’t test anyone staying at 2mg for the whole thing but I might be wrong.

Have you checked other studies?

No joke i was literally mid goon sesh and I accidentally tabbed out and saw ur thread

U can use jardiance it’s very promising although I haven’t looked into it much myself
Keep in mind that Reta itself is very limited for insulin sensitivity, or other related health benefits -it’s more of an indirect effect.
Maybe just pin ur GH at night and call it day
Also some guy on here said only injectable berberine caused igf-1 down regulation I’m not sure if he’s being legit or trolling u can look into it ig

I was thinking that perhaps I have to just try to improve insulin sensitivity via non chemical methods

Jardiance? That’s interesting I’ll look into it. Thanks

That’s actually interesting I didn’t think about that

Obese people are likely more insulin resistant at baseline and require higher doses to get similar effects that leaner individuals would get

I think what I’m going to do is lower my dose to 1-2mg, hopefully that improves it.
