All we do when we hang out is drive around and scream like psychos in my car. We're all handicapped autists

try autismmaxxing at this point, develop a niche interest, act shy but not weird and have decent fashion sense

Interesting. It’s almost as if they think there’s a formula for human connection, for redemption. You see, friendship (like faith) is something people cling to because they can’t handle being alone. They need to surround themselves with others to feel validated, to escape the silence of their own thoughts. It’s not about genuine connection; it’s about filling the void, much like how they use God to fill the unanswered questions in their lives.

But you don’t need friends. At least, not in the way most people think. They want you to conform, to play by their rules, be social, be connected, as if that makes you whole. But, in reality, most friendships are transactional, shallow. People are more concerned with what others can give them than any real sense of loyalty or understanding.

The question you should be asking yourself isn’t whether or not you need friends. It’s why? What do you stand to gain from it? If it's something you want, then fine, go for it.
