Has to do with microexpressions. I think I lose respect for people if I can tell that they're reacting to every social stimulus in an environment. I feel like I can sense them twitch ever so slightly. On some subconscious level, I think it makes them look weak and low status. But if they seem impassive and don't react, then I somehow respect them more. It's not even big noticeable gestures. It's like little microflinches that I pick up on. Sometimes I seem to respect some normie or even sub-5 and they always have this trait of being unmoved by random social stimuli. Whereas gl people who I don't respect or like, frequently give off this vibe like they notice every little thing. Probably just schizo rambling, but it came to mind.

Ye for example my mom is very high cortisol if she sees a plastic bag flying she immediately shrieks and acts like she got scared (probably did). Really socially dominant people are hyper aware but also intuitively know if its a lifedeath situation or not, so it feels like they are in complete control of the senses. Monks take this to a new extreme ofc

I don't even think it's things that are this obvious. I think you can make eye contact and notice small micro expressions of nervousness in like milliseconds. Small twitches in skin and muscle that let you know this person has noticed you and is uncomfortable.

Normies normally filter this out, give the benfit of doubt. Only autists are experts at this as they are noramlly unaccustomed to social cues so have to be really aware of whats going on

I kinda think it's the opposite. NT people are keyed into this, but autists only detect really big obvious gestures.

Legit autistis isnt what I meant.

Lmfao @ the scam that is spotlight effect
"Don’t be so self conscious! People aren’t paying nearly as much attention to you as you think!"
Meanwhile normies pick up on every single microflinch

I hate how I have to overthink every question normies ask because I know they have underlying motives of testing me in some way

it's just so stupid. Just because some socially unaware moron doesn't react to things shouldn't make me think they're cooler, but it does.

The word "motive" makes it sound too intentional and conscious. It more like people are antennae attuned to the slightest change in the vibes.

I have no microexpressions

i have an uncanny flat effect

i'm far from normal, but i can't stand guys who are socially awkward tbh. It's not even about what they say - it's their inability to match the energy of others. Like if people are talking to them enthusiastically and they're barely saying anything or acting nervous I feel like slapping them. Even though I used to be like that.
