problem with the "looksmax" part of this forum

There is a big problem with this entire "looksmax" part of the forum - that being content exhaustion

The forum was thriving before because it was new, it was something exciting - even glorified. New information coming out every day, every hour, every 10 minutes.

But now? everything that could possibly have been said has already been said. Every theory has been debunked, everything is referred to as "water"

Notice how there are practically 0 new BOTB threads outside of peptides? (a new trend ), 0 intresting and new questions in the /looksmaxing questions subforum, 0 thought provoking posts in /looksmaxing either.

Hell, if all the greys knew the search function existed, the /looksmaxing questions sub-forum would be long dead because all the questions have already been asked.

But realistically, what can we do about it? Absolutely nothing. It used to be a niche topic and community that with time got milked to its core

the only SEMI-alive subforum is offtopic, mainly for its great users and community, and not looksmaxing.

there are still some, but once they leave it'll be tough.

it's already mainly the new generation of org users (2025cels) being active.

but what I've noticed with 2025cels, myself included, is that we very rarely post entertaining threads.

like for example @Jason Voorhees, a big old head, is a main entertainment source for me here.

Forums like these are highly repetitive, blackpill and looks theory seems very novel at first but quickly becomes stale. You’ll also start to become less NT and desensitised to violent and disparaging humour that is present here and no longer laugh at things you used to find funny which is why I tell users to focus on looksmaxxing and gain as much as they can from the good content that's on here and leave after 2-3 months.


For people like me however this is a good place to talk about random things and talk about political stuff without getting censored. That's basically why I use the forum now. I don't care about thr blackpill, looks theory no more I've outgrown these things

I have over ten ideas for threads that could easily end up in BOTB (not necessarily about looksmaxing, but about things that most users should know, related to life in general)

But I don't have the time, energy, patience to finalize them and make them in the form I want, also the "reward" that I would get for such threads I feel would be quite small compared to the effort put in (so often I give up the idea of starting that thread in the first place)

Also, I think this is a frequent problem and situation that a lot of users encounter, and that makes them give up the idea of posting good shit here in general, not just BOTB content..

I have over ten ideas for threads that could easily end up in BOTB (not necessarily about looksmaxing, but about things that most users should know, related to life in general)

But I don't have the time, energy, patience to finalize them and make them in the form I want, also the "reward" that I would get for such threads I feel would be quite small compared to the effort put in (so often I give up the idea of starting that thread in the first place)

Also, I think this is a frequent problem and situation that a lot of users encounter, and that makes them give up the idea of posting good shit here in general, not just BOTB content..

What are some examples of those ideas

There is a big problem with this entire "looksmax" part of the forum - that being content exhaustion

The forum was thriving before because it was new, it was something exciting - even glorified. New information coming out every day, every hour, every 10 minutes.

But now? everything that could possibly have been said has already been said. Every theory has been debunked, everything is referred to as "water"

Notice how there are practically 0 new BOTB threads outside of peptides? (a new trend ), 0 intresting and new questions in the /looksmaxing questions subforum, 0 thought provoking posts in /looksmaxing either.

Hell, if all the greys knew the search function existed, the /looksmaxing questions sub-forum would be long dead because all the questions have already been asked.

But realistically, what can we do about it? Absolutely nothing. It used to be a niche topic and community that with time got milked to its core

the only SEMI-alive subforum is offtopic, mainly for its great users and community, and not looksmaxing.

i was actually writing something similar to 4 for beginning of school and making friends

then i realised I'm autistic and just got lucky with it and have 0 personality.
