This is framed really gayly because I originally wrote this for reddit so i held back in order to not get downvoted and banned lmao
THE ROLE OF SOCIAL MEDIA/THE ENTERTAINMENT INDUSTRY + COVID
The minds of young men have been warped by the porn industry, having unrealistic beliefs about how women should look (plastic) what relationships are like/sexual relationships are like (over exaggerated and unrealistic, fetishised scenes, people sleeping with their step family? Etc) and also that women should be submissive, and also some videos have an almost rapey feel about them because the man is being so dominant, calling the woman a “dirty little slut” etc. All of it is overdramatised and not founded on reality
shows like Euphoria, Ginny and Georgia, Shameless, etc have become some of the most watched shows by (mostly) young women. These shows glorify toxic relationships, setting a very wrong example about what relationships should be like. Meaning that relationships that young women want nowadays are founded on being taken on an adventure, highs and lows, dopamine rushes, and unhealthy attachments to men who will treat them badly and ruin their life.
Furthermore on tiktok aswell as in these shows there is so many good looking men and women on display it messes up what young peoples think an average person looks like, this pushing their standards higher.
And with covid this made things considerably worse, the main way people kept themselves entertained was through looking at these kinds of media for literally 2 years straight, making people even more out of touch with reality
This has lead to things like women wanting a “bad boy” or “mafia boss” the popularity of the film 365 days helps to put this into perspective
Womens favourite shows which they find the most exciting, dopamine releasing and sexy is when a (top 1% looking) man kidnaps a woman for a year and says she can either fall in love with him in that time or leave (wtf?)
And when men talk about their ideal bodys for a women (big ass big breasts, skinny waists) they talk of a body which is completely un attainable without plastic surgery
MOST IMPORTANT POINT
Women are more looks driven, short term (because they want their mafia boss euphoria excitement, but they know this isnt a good or sustainable relationship to keep) however LONG TERM women are much more personality and content of character based.

For people who arent aware, incel websites are complete misogynistic echo chambers, who will tell you that women only care about mens looks in relationships, that women are shallow and will even go as far as to say that men should kill themselves if they are ugly, or if they arent white (im not joking) particularly people who are of south asian descent (due to statistics saying that most races find them the least attractive) and this is how we get people like ER (iykyk) who think the world is evil and racist and women are shallow and didnt like him because he was ethnic. (He killed 4 women then took his life i believe)

Now as i stated before, Long term, women go for personality over looks. However, these incels have all developed disgusting beliefs about women and thus, they are also incapable of getting long term relationships as their personality is now also terrible, and this cycle perpetuates and they never end up with a woman and id assume its this which causes it to become such an awful echo chamber,
Furthermore the more attractive members of these forums, the ones who have “looksmaxxed” however, do sleep with lots of women, and they show it off aswell. They also treat women like shit (however as i stated before women like toxic relationships short term so it works for most of these men) and so the people on the forum are reinforced in their belief that only looks matter to women and they like to be treated awfully. Which is also how names like Chad (typical jock type name) have become popular.

The name blackpillers give to men who are with women when the girl is looking for something long term essentially. Because women go for personality over looks (long term) the men they marry typically maybe arent as good looking as some of the men they were with when they werent trying to settle down (because these good looking men were assholes and not someone you would want to marry) and so these incels simply see these men as people who are just providing money and shelter for the woman now that she wants to settle down, and they massively overlook the fact that the woman has fallen in love with this man because of his personality because all of their minds are warped. They essentially see this as extreme cuckery when the reality is that the woman has fallen for the mans personality over his looks, and this reinforces their misogynistic beliefs and makes them think that women are just gold diggers who have finally gotten bored of “sleeping around”
