Professional skin treatments

I have some PIE and hypertrophic acne scarring, idk what treatment would be the best. This type of scarring seems to be way more rare and opinions are so mixed I'm losing it.

If anyone has experience with some professional treatments please lmk

a co2 laser would work good for hyperthropic scars but it would worsen PIE, your best option at this moment is steroid injection and a pulsed dye laser

really I thought co2 helps pie aswell. Also do you know if steroid injections are done on like very small hypertrophic scars I thought its just a big keloid thing.

i thought so too, unfortunately it does the opposite

i am not sure for minor scars, just ask your surgeon or derm if he will perform it. either way you dont really have many other options besides laser

yeah ok, I have heard alot of good about pdl so im prolly doing that. Ill look into steroid injections too.

the pdl is mainly to treat pie, its not super usefull for scarring

yes, but for athropic rolling scars so they dont really apply to your case

yeah the pie is my main concern rn
