Because it’s a test and we don’t know the parameters. If we did we’d act differently, same shit for any kind of test. If you were guaranteed to get into heaven you’d do whatever you wanted. Maybe those deformed kids are just NPC’s, maybe they’re having their own test. Maybe we’re all one soul split into a million pieces so the suffering averages out with lifetimes of pure overindulgence. You can’t just say that suffering is proof of gods nonexistence.

yea the world is fucked i agree, but i still dont see that as a reason to disbelieve in god since he does promise his believers a better life after death.

i dont even really believe in god but its not because of how fucked this world is, its mainly because i really struggle to see how an all loving god is planning on sending somebody to an eternal pit of fire simply because they didnt believe.
