Proof mouth breathing will recess your maxilla even as an adult

I guess that was enough to cause significant downward rotation. I have sleep apnea now as a result of the structural collapse. You’re right that my profile looks more balanced on the right but imagine the effect that losing that much maxillary projection has on soft tissues. I’ve had jowls since I was 22 and my skin looks unusually thick and lax due to the loss of support. Might fuck around and get a facelift but for now I’m looking into bimax to fix the bones

If you’re referring to the difference in the azimuth angle, I’m aware of it. Even accounting for that it’s obvious that recession occurred. My nasal base is a lot less ahead of my eye than it used to be. These are the only undistorted pics I have to compare. I’m not basing my conclusion from these pictures alone, there isn’t a single recent picture where I look as forward grown as I used to no matter which angle I take it from. This isn’t normal aging either.

I mouth tape now but too little too late. And yes 20 was my prime I had no issues back then my life was great. Funny you say I could be more bloated cause I’m significantly leaner in the after. Like in the before I was probably around 18 percent body fat now I’m 10 perfect at most. Also following a strict debloating protocol whereas back then I ate whatever I wanted and didn’t monitor sodium or potassium at all. You really think angle can account for that much of a discrepancy? I wish but I think it’s unlikely. My smile also became much narrower, I have buccal corridors now whereas I used to have a 12 tooth smile with no corridors. Also consistent with changes due to mouth breathing

It really can, I am extremely recessed in my mandible and maxilla but with good angle it looks slightly above average.
