Do humans have a natural ability to know right from wrong?
If so, then why does religion exist? And why does murder occur at all?
If humans were born with a clear sense of morals, we would expect ZERO disagreement about what is “right” and “wrong,” and almost zero cases of severe humans rights violations
-> Why do some extremist children think murder is normal?
An explanation is exposure, they are raised in environments were violence is normal and praised.
This suggests moral beliefs are not innate, but HEAVILY influenced by education.
-> Religion is unnecessary
If humans already possessed a set of perfect morals, then systems like religion, designed to teach universal morals would be redundant.
The existence of religion itself indicates that morality needs to be taught
If not, then it explains why religion exists.
If humans do not naturally know right from wrong (which is very clear from whats been said)
then religion serves an important role of providing a guide to help people distinguish acceptable from unacceptable

From this perspective, all religion's purpose is as a powerful tool for organizing and spreading morals to a wider audience
Now all of that said, this doesn't mean religion itself is BAD
It's just not the truth, if your goal in life is to stick with dogma and belong, go to church/synagogue/mosque or wherever you want
if your goal in life is to understand the truth, then do not be so dumb as believing in religion.
