Pros :

No need to go to a gas station. I set up a wall charger on my porch for about 1k USD here, basically charge it in my sleep.

Doesn't need to be that expensive but I paid my electrician extra to conceal wires and split into two ports for my 2 chargeable cars ( BMW 330 e hybrid and a BYD seal )

Cons :

Battery counter makes you anxious. If you are that type of person, never buy an EV.

The mileage the company provides on a full charge is almost always a lie.

Bonus pro : Speeding on a highway is fun

I own an ICE car too if that makes me "more respectable" and "less of a faggot" for some reason

No one in real life cares, in fact, many of my colleagues have asked to try and ride my cars many times.

Cute image. I wish I had a convertible, but I don't want to star paying off for another car lol. My funds are not infinite you see...

Yeah, the only reason I bought it was become a colleague of mine bought a Tesla Model 3 performance.

We (4 people) were in the car and he floored it when the road was empty. It was wild just how powerful the car was in relation to it being so quite.

I never ended up going with the Model 3 performance however, the interior was so barren and the build quality was just not that good imo.

Honestly bro don't buy an EV. Pretty soon they are going to introduce road user charges to them for the so called "emissions" just like they do with diesel vehicles. There are many cons to EV vehicles. One of which is when they crash and burn the chemicals released is horrendous. Lithium, heavy metals etc. fire crews have a hard time putting them out the fire is that toxic.

Aswell as that once the battery is worn out it's virtually useless. Another thing is the level of background radiation and magnetism you will be exposed to when charging and driving the EV. Over the years it will have an impact on health. EV's are simply a way for governments to make more money and exercise a level of control over charging stations aswell as having an excuse to hike power costs and other costs up.

Late 90s to early 2000s Toyota Corolla is one of the best vehicles you will ever own. Very cheap to run and maintain. Parts are widely available and cheap. It's a car that just keeps going and going. I have owned multiple and they are a solid reliable ride. Might not be the flashest but far better than any EV.

Toyota Corollas have a very basic engine that is rather easy to dismantle and rebuild and would probably be one of the easier cars to convert to running on hydrogen or some other alternative fuel source.

I drive for fun really, don't really care too much about the environment.

Costs are also not a problem for me at all

Are you self insured?
BMW 330e and BYD seal are very similar in function, I see no reason to own both. In what country are they assembled?

I have rich parents so they can act as a safety net for me, but my job is my career and I am pretty stable.

I keep my monthly commitments to less than 40 percent of my salary ( after tax and essentials )

The BMW 330e is a company car and a hybrid, meaning I use it for long distance travels, especially since some rural areas have not many working chargers.

I don't live in the US.

The BYD Seal is a car that I am in the process of "owning". Down payment made, took a reasonable loan out for a 7 year duration. Can easily pay it off so no worries.

My dad gave me his Volkswagen Jetta, don't know which year it's just collecting dust but it's there and working.

I'm not too sure, it's overall a nice car but not my style. Like I said, the interior is so barren, no signal shafts and touchscreen gears are just a no go.

Maybe that’s why foids like them, it’s like the iPhone of cars.
