Would a protein bar give me muscle or would i have to do push ups first??
 
U should rather work on your pERsonality
 
if you wanna gain muscles get a solid gym plan and buy a gym membership (better then working out at home) and when ur done w ur gym sesh get 0.8–1g of protein per kg of body weight per day and hop on creatine for faster results (dosent make you bloated if you drink 2-3L water daily) just remember to eat good and workout atleast 4 times a week
