covid actually stole our childhoods , our motivation, our everything man. FuckI turned 19 some months ago and I must say... reletable![]()
That's normal. You will be 50 soon and think you are still in your late teens and twenties. That's life.dude im 17 and i feel like an oldhead now wtf man turning 18 soon![]()
I wonder how much of a cope this is.everyone is in derealization since 2020
i don't remember anything from the past 5 years (except little irl events but i can count them on 1 hand) since i became chronically online.I wonder how much of a cope this is.
Ok but 2015-2020 i could fit in a LOT of content of shit that happend in my life, i could go on for so fucking long. 2020-2025, what really changed other than me getting fucking older. That's normal. You will be 50 soon and think you are still in your late teens and twenties. That's life.
We remember how time and life felt in our childhood and how adulthood was thought to be so far away. Then somewhere in mid and late teens, as our brain matures, it gets a new perception of time.We are becoming utter oldcels. Absofuckinglutely over.
Brutally true. During development years, your teens, 2 years ia a lot of time, this also played a part to stunt me socially but later I thankfully cathed up. I can fake being more NT pretty well but it's tiring.covid actually stole our childhoods , our motivation, our everything man. Fuck2 years of lockdown, then like 2 years of lazy ass work.
It was after tasting covid's lockdowns ldar after returning to school for some time that I started to crave it, especially on the second year of hs when I had a bad covid infection that lasted for a month and couldn't obviously go to school. That month I rotted and unironically reminded me of the lockdown and liked it but that shit in 2020 and 2021 did make me lazy and less social. Boomers get nostalgic about their memories with friends instead we get nostalgic thinking about our ldar daysU should see good sixthforms in the uk post covid, they are like 80% girls now, cuz literally every guy was playing games the whole of the 2 years and became lazy asf. A whole generation of men literally just fucking flopped and ldar

Again it's normal. Although probably exacerbated if the only thing you did in your teenhood besides going to school was looking at pixels alone in your room.Ok but 2015-2020 i could fit in a LOT of content of shit that happend in my life, i could go on for so fucking long. 2020-2025, what really changed other than me getting fucking older.![]()
i think so too, we need to kiss the earth againAlthough, I'm not sure how true it is, that if you are doing very entertaining and new stuff everyday, life will feel almost as when you were a kid. It's something I'm really curious about.
I see the covid blaming more of an excuse. Although maybe it's actually true?Brutally true. During development years, your teens, 2 years ia a lot of time, this also played a part to stunt me socially but later I thankfully cathed up. I can fake being more NT pretty well but it's tiring.

True. But the thing is that time, at least how we call it is also kind of artificial since it was made by us to make our lives less chaotic with proper schedules and holidays. According to science the older we get, the faster time seem to go by. When I was a child i remember how time felt so slow, now it goes by super fast. It's scary. We remember how time and life felt in our childhood and how adulthood was thought to be so far away. Then somewhere in mid and late teens, as our brain matures, it gets a new perception of time.
I guess that feeling comes from doing new things, when we were kids most things were a novelty for us, perhaps when we have the same routine doing always the same thing everyday the body "helps" us by speeding up our time perception to don't bore us too much?Although, I'm not sure how true it is, that if you are doing very entertaining and new stuff everyday, life will feel almost as when you were a kid. 50/50 chance. I definitely think it made me more lazy and into rotting but the predisposition to that lifestyle was already there, probably. I know people that can't stay at home for more than one dayI see the covid blaming more of an excuse. Although maybe it's actually true?
I don't know.
Brain maturing plays some role 100%. But doing new interesting stuff most of the time could help you make feel time go by slower, what I don't know is to whag extent. But that's hard if you have a job or have no money.I guess that feeling comes from doing new things, when we were kids most things were a novelty for us, perhaps when we have the same routine doing always the same thing everyday the body "helps" us by speeding up our time perception to don't bore us too much?
True... that's why I am a preacher of money> looks. Most people are average anyway and money gets you freedom while looks unless you are opry tier doesn’t.Brain maturing plays some role 100%. + 2 years of lockdown, and i would literally never go out cuz of lockdown. I would be going outside like every other day prelockdownAgain it's normal. Although probably exacerbated if the only thing you did in your teenhood besides going to school was looking at pixels alone in your room.
