I know ppl here like to fantasize about getting trimax, implants, etc. which is all good but bear in mind the process you have to go through. I am 4 days out of getting my peek implants (I will make a post in a few weeks when everything is good to go) and while I was in the clinic I saw patients who were getting bimax by the same doctor who treated me. I also played with the idea of getting it but hated the idea of wearing braces and rubbers for months and then learned about the complications so decided to completely rule out this idea. IMHO yall should’t get bimax unless you have an actual medical necessity for it. And when I say actual I mean ACTUAL MEDICAL ISSUES outside of looksmaxxing. Because this shit is brutal.
think of:
1) pain. A lot of pain. Unbearable pain. Have you ever heard a grown ass man crying the whole night despite being injected with tons of opioids? I did. We shared same room in the clinic.
2) being unable to eat. For many weeks.
3) being completely dysfunctional for weeks straight.
4) money. Tons of money: CT scans, braces, surgery itself, anesthesia, hospital bed, meds, plane tickets and hotels. I am traveling with a gf who likes to go out, do shit and buy souvenirs, so factor that as well unless you are traveling alone and plan to spend the whole time in the hotel.
5) unless you work for a company that can give you a few weeks of paid vacation in a row like mine does or have rich family, think how you are going to make it? It’s not like you can travel there for a week and then back to work. I already know that I will not show up in the office until September at least even when I’m back next week.
6) it will not change your life. There was a post about it already. You won’t have 180 degree life turn because you had a surgery.
7) you can get botched.
Make sure you know what you are getting into.
