- NT eyes focus on the eyes and mouth of the face they’re looking at
- ASD eyes focus on the middle of the face they’re looking at
When I look at faces post-PSL-exposure, I pay attention to all facial features. Maxilla, eye area, nose, nasolabial folds, lips, teeth, cheekbones, cheek hollows, ramus, mandible, chin, forehead, hairline, head shape, etc. Which, in an eye-tracking study, might show up as an atypical gaze pattern.
