There is this new trend where dating coaches (reluctantly accepting the importance of looks) tell their clients to get professional photoshoots for dating apps.

Then they apply all kinds of filters and AI on those photos.

What you get is an absolutely chadfished version of yourself.

So far so good - you get more matches.

But do you for a moment think that girls will put up with that when they see you irl?

There's nothing wrong with touching up your photos here and there. But if you fake yourself from a 6 to an 8 you might be in for a rude awakening on the date..

I always got told I looked far better in person than in my photos.
That might be a justification for photoshopping.
But it might also just be the halo effect from my height which is difficult to present on an app.
