Punching yourself and getting hurt makes you weak or strong?

I keep on randomly punching myself in the chest idk why, but it’s lwk starting to hurt. I want to stop but I think I need to keep going.
Thoughts?

not that great of a way to build pain tolerance

id say extremely cold water or just trying to push yourself extremely hard on a hike or something or even not eating or drinking for a bit

maybe you could go to brazil and get stung by bullet ants or some shiet too

Not to build pain tolerance. I just feel the need to punch myself in the ribs, I think I might crack them but maybe not also
