question about furosemide

should i dehydrate before taking furosemide? i saw a guide on .org saying you shouldnt drink too much water cuz it gets rid of water in your body, but also water gets rid of excess water so im confused

don’t dehydrate yourself prior. the drug will do that well enough. you can avoid water after taking it, but the fluid excretion will outmatch your intake no matter how hard you try.
