Question for youtubers - Is it bad to have mixed content on my channel?

Currently only have a channel where I upload personal stuff like homework assignments, personal videos and stuff like that, all of this is public as I really don't care who sees them.

Been considering lately to start uploading more artistic stuff to YouTube for personal reasons, like music mixes for me to study/work and overall content more related to entertainment for a bigger audience, not sure if I wanna monetize off it yet.

Would it be better to have this type of content on separate channels? I wouldn't mind having them on my personal channel where my face is shown tbh but wondering if doing that would have a negative impact on my content or channel

Like the others said it’s nice to experiment at first and see what people enjoy watching.

After tht focus on the thing people will actually watch
