You know how they say that your brain replays your best memories in the last 7 minutes before death?

Question of the day:

¿¿¿What would your brain replay premortem? - What are your happiest memories???

My Anwer:
For me it would just be Oneitis.
Like getting off that train / going to the airport and seeing them after weeks / months.
Just being with them in general. Even some nice interactions over call gotta be up there.
The vast majority of happy memories i have are of time spent with them.
Maybe not the majority, but the happiest ones for sure.

Thread OST:
I couldn't pick one so here is a few ;)

The Winner of the last QUOTD, Your Biggest Fear is :
@foidletslayer for the most nietzschean anwer:

My greatest fear is not death, but to die as one unremarkable and mediocre soul, to vanish as dust among the nameless masses. I crave to live and perish as one of the greats, to have my name burn among the constellations of genius and strength, of mind and body alike. Yet I feel the chains of mediocrity tightening, madeup by my own sloth, my own quiet surrender to comfort. This must be overcome, for mediocrity is the slow suicide of the spirit. The will must wage war against itself, and in that inner war, greatness is born.
The man who refuses struggle shall NEVER taste transcendence; while the man who chose struggles over instant gratification, will enjoy the fruits of his labor.
The question I ask myself is; which man am I? Am I the latter or the former?

I don't have a really specific memory, tbh, but i often remember this highway and bridge I used to go at, to smoke and relax, and i really enjoy thinking about it, i can't access the place anymore but, 7 minutes there, for me, were at peace, i could do whatever I want without repercussions there.

I dont have something specific in mind but most memories would be from 2-7 years ago where I was chilling with friends, doing random bullshit like graffiti, playing fort with them in spiderman season, on mobile in chapter 2, and playing on a minecraft server with my friends.

🥲 happy for you.
Did that two. Only it was me on their lap getting head pats like a good boy :owo::owo:
I once also got a rooftop bj, but i still prefer the ones of being wholesome and silly till 2 am on the roof cuddling.

well if i were to die in this very moment, the memories my brain would replay would probably be the typical day in 2020-2021.

playing video games with my friends, having fun, and after i was done playing going doing to the dining room and eating dinner with my family. was such a simple time, i had nothing to worry about whatsoever.

many people say that 2020-2021 was the worst years of their lives and that 2016-2019 were way better and i used to agreed until i gew up and realized that the time that i had the least to worry about was without a doubt in 2020-2021.

however, that is if i were to die right now.

if you were to ask me this question in 10 years, i really hope that my answer would be different because it would suck if even after 10 whole years i still didnt experience anything better than i did in 2020-2021.
