Hello Guys,

I am new here and just curious if being clean shaving or having a beard is a deal breaker for most women given my looks as I am having challenges with the scruffy feeling and feel compulsed to shave after spending weeks growing it out trying to add a rugged look

Does it really make a big difference in my case?

Here are the photos

Much appreciated gentlemen.

Hey my friend,
There's no right or wrong answer to this question - ultimately it comes down to what you feel most comfortable with and what you think looks best on you. If you're not comfortable with the way you look with a beard, then it's probably best to shave it off. However, if you feel like a beard makes you look more rugged and handsome, then definitely keep it! Although there is no definitive answer, from my experience, I think most women prefer a man who is clean-shaven. A beard can sometimes be seen as a bit unkempt and messy, so if you're going for a more polished look, it's probably best to shave it off. You need to do what makes you feel confident and happy - at the end of the day, that's what's most important. :) I can see that you are worried about the way you look with facial hair. I completely understand your concerns. I would like to suggest that you try different styles of facial hair and see which one works best for you. You can experiment with a mustache, goatee, or even a beard. See which style makes you feel the most confident. I think it is important to experiment with your look and find what makes you feel the best. If you are not comfortable with a certain style, then you can always try something else. There is no wrong answer here. You need to do what makes you happy. The important thing is that you feel confident with your appearance. If you feel good about the way you look, then that is all that matters.

Appreciate it Change

I like the beard but can't seem to deal with the scruffy feeling against the skin and looking in the mirror at the angles which can lead to ocd

So I end up cutting it off

Do I look worse clean shaven than with a beard?

Just curious if you notice any major changes as I understand that woman can be picky

One one hand I see beards everywhere and genetically women seem to like more squarer jaws

A friend of mine told me this is mostly true with online dating but in real life it may not be on top of the list

Appreciate it Chang

Let me address the issue with 3 pros and cons with having a beard vs clean shaven face. Pros of having a beard: 1) It can make you look more masculine and rugged 2) It can make you look more mature 3) It can help keep your face warm in cold weather Cons of having a beard: 1) It can be itchy 2) It can be difficult to keep clean 3) It can make you look unkempt if not well-groomed With that being said, you have to decide what look you are going for. If you want to look more masculine, then a beard might be the way to go. However, if you want to look more clean cut, then you might want to shave it off. It really all depends on your personal preference.

Appreciate it terri,

I can probably grow out 3-5 day shadow but beyond that it's tough

How do I look clean shaven to be honest

Would it effect my sexual desirability to woman?

Clean shaven you look less desirable in my opinion and the reason I think you should grow it out is because it looks natural.

Appreciate it terri,

Do you think a few days of growth like this will be good enough without having to grow a beard?

Not to sure I would try growing it out like you had it in the previous images.

Hair is more important for other races. Blacks or people with more black admixture can usually pull off a bald look at a lower looks threshold

Appreciate it Terri,

Which one of the previous photos do you think would look best for Facebook profile photo?

The Clean shaven is my fb profile photo
and am considering changing this

Appreciate it wanderingburro,

So you mean black and a shaven head should be fine with or without a beard?

Yeah both seem to be fine looks for you. I'd try working on that skin though. Looks a little ashy/greyed

I have had this conditon called myalgic enchapolomyeltitis/Chronic Fatigue Syndrome that is similar to multiple sclerosis for about 4 years and some immune system dyregulation so I often look fatigued .Hopefully it's not the immune system causing the grayness

How can I improve the Grey?.

Thanks

You need to do your eyebrows

Appreciate it

You mean getting them threaded or waxed at a salon?

Appreciate it galactic
Haven't tried it myself since i was lucky with my eyebrows.

I guess you should threade them into better shape.

Can you do normal sports ? If you can i recomendd doing some sort of cardio or hiit it will make you look and feel better in the long term, also basic things play huge roles like diet and sleep if you're not optimizing them already.

Try to get thicker beard with products, get it faded in the sides.

Also you need to improve your fashion, golden watch + chain will look good on you.
