How much does being bald matter in dating?​

Assuming the bald guy has no insecurities about it and shaves his head, will his dating life be any different? I always see the main advice being '' just shave it off, bro'' but at the same time I've seen huge threads on women's forums where all they do is laugh at this ''look'' and call them ''potatoes with eyes''. I also don't understand why there are so few bald, high profile politicians that hang on to their last scraps of hair and try to hide their baldness (Trump, Biden, Bernie etc) when 100% of the online advice is that's lame, people will laugh at you so ''just shave it off, bro''.
