I have known about this subreddit r/truerateme for a while now but just as I have joined here recently, I decided to make an account and DM one of the really experienced raters (they have mods with ranking of raters and stuff) and to my surprise I got a higher rating than I expected.

Also the guy that rated me usually gives out 3s, 4s and maybe some 5s in his history, brutal commentary too JFL

Couple questions if you are reading this:
Has anyone tried that sub and posted their picture for ratings there by intermediate raters? How different is it in comparison to here(by good raters not delusional racists who can't recognise good looking ethnics)?

He also told me to improve my acne, so if you guys know best ways for me to achieve this, how do I go about it as a black guy?

some ethnic with 0 harmony with slight hollows will get rated the same as a white MTN with colored eyes, meanwhile the difference in their SMV is astronomical

even in their ratings guide, they are biased towards ethnics, I mean do you really think the Indian guy and the Asian guy are on the same level as Drago, Selih and Hexum?

Got 7-7.5's on there a while ago and got 5.5-6PSL on here. Good looking is good looking but you need a bigger sample size than just one rater who may very well be wrong

I think hollow cheeks are overrated here as well, have you seen entire threads on it and how to get it?

SMV is also irrelevant here imo, it's purely about face ratings and there's a whole guide on how features should get rated
A white MTN might do better in SMV if taller or RTT or the ethnic might if gymmaxxed or whatnot, all these are not really what it's about

No idea who the chang is but the Indian for his ethnicity is basically chad
I think it's a combination of how you look in your race vs generally, also 4 out of 6 faces being accurate is kind of a good system to work with albeit not perfect

As you gotta remember, these communities unlike looksmax gives a more normie perception generally instead of hyperanalyzing canthal tilt or white hunter eyes/features and this and that, its just how it generally harmonises and will look in a normal situation

Yeah I got like 6.1 or something iirc on TRM back in the days and I'm also a black.
Looks improved a bit tho since then.

No different than other races, you just have to be more cautious about inflammation and irritating the skin as you are more likely to develop nasty hyperpigmentated uneven skintone from it. Read the part about acne here :

Also I bet you don't just have acne but also hyperpigmentation. There are tons of things you could use. Usually the normie method is just to add vitamin C + azelaic acid + niacinamide to your skincare routine and maybe add other things like arbutin, licorice or a turmeric mask(tons of guides on youtube about this[1,2]). While also wearing sunscreen outside. Also as pointed out by @AscendingHero before PermanenceSkincare products like this one are good and contain most of the effective herbal extracts, acids and others, you don't even have to think, though some of these products can lighten your skin even further than your natural skin tone so stop using them when you achieve whatever goal you have.

The USA itself is diverse and there are places that are easier/harder for blacks, and places where you definitely won't be "worshipped" as he claims.
