Intro
A while ago I finished my first sarm cycle, and I wanted to share my experience with people who are considering taking rad and to get feedback from more experienced users.
I chose RAD-140 for my first cycle, which was kind of a bold or some may even say a dumb choice. Dumb for the reasons of the side effects it may induce. I also did no bloodwork cus i lwk dont give a fuck about my health. If you care about your health and don’t want to end up a depressed chud with manboobs, get bloodwork pre, during and after cycle.
Dosage and PCT
I took 10mg of rad for 8weeks and threw in enclo after the 4th week, taking 12.5mg of it. After cycle I threw in 20mg nolvadex for 4 weeks, while also continuing my enclo til I ran out.
My gym experience
I’m 22 years old, have been training since 16, but there have been some pauses in between due to motivation issues etc. By the time of my cycle I had been consistently training, as in 5-6x days a week, for about a year. I was following my modified PPL routine, where I did shoulders on pull days instead of on push days. The reason for that is because I feel as if when you do shoulders on push day, your shoulders will be tired to some extent after bench press and incline bench press, so you couldn’t push yourself to your limits when doing shoulders.
My experience and side effects
I was expecting some suppression but to my surprise experienced MINIMAL to NONE. Personally I think it’s because I added in enclo mid cycle(which some say is inefficient, cus it cancels the rad out??). Even though I “cancelled rad out” according to the nerds, my lifts kept going up and I didn’t plateau in strength. Weight gain started to plateau out towards the end, which is expected.
I went from 70kg to 82kg in the span of 8 weeks and still looked good during it.
I stayed relatively low bodyfat the whole cycle, even though I wasn’t necessarily eating healthy, just ate whatever. My genes play a huge role in that though.
I’ve always had a hard time putting on weight, so this was extremely surprising, even tried a different scale because I thought that my scale was lying.
Regarding the progress of my strength, the weight of every exercise I did went up every training session. It was like I was experiencing noobie gains again but this time on steroids. Just my bench press WORKING SETS weight went up by 15kg by the end of the cycle. Didn’t try for a 1RM
Side effects/Suppression
Minimal, at most. Experienced a bit of Radsomnia, which is RAD-140 induced insomnia. This usually only occurs during the beginning of the cycle and went away after a few days-week. The radsomnia was quite intense I’d say, felt like shit during it, but NEVER did I think about giving up those gains and quitting. Once I got through that, it was smooth sailing. I experienced no hair loss during my cycle.
I was perhaps a bit more irritable than usual, but nothing unmanageable.
At some point I noticed that I had no more morning wood, which made me a bit concerned, but still had no issues when it came time to lay down some dick.
Overall, I’d say the side effects had absolutely no effect on my life, I expected MUCH MUCH worse, considering how suppressive Rad-140 is supposed to be.
Post Cycle
The most impressive part about the whole cycle was that after cycle I didn’t lose all my gains, I didn’t lose 50% of them, I lost absolutely no gains, my strength kept going up even after the cycle. I even hit new 1RM-s in bench press and my working sets weight kept going up quite steadily as well, not as good as on cycle though, but progress was still noticeable.
I think all of this was thanks to me taking enclo on cycle and adding in nolvadex afterwards.
Some progress pics, I didn’t take consistent progress pics so it’s just a bit of everything and no anglemaxxing or lightingmaxxing. Yes this physique achievable naturally, but why go the hard and long way when you can take a shortcut
