Is anyone aware of any surgeons who perform ramus osteotomy? I have a round-ass mandible and I’m not convinced on the longevity of jaw implants.

The only one I’m aware of it’s the vertical cut. I’ve seen it mentioned on here before that this will help to straighten the jaw. But I don’t see how this will correct a rounded mandible... short mandible yes. But I already have pretty decent mandible in terms of length. It’s just a shitty shape.

I have not seen a single before/after of a ramus osteotomy. I believe it is a very obscure procedure.
