ive noticed something online in recent years that zoomers love doing. being overly nostalgic over the 2000s - early 2010s. but no other generation seems to be romanticizing their past to this extent. zoomers are still young and are experiencing this in their late teens - early 20s. why is that? i think its because a lot of gen z grew up online and didnt get to experience life how it really was at the time cause they were at home 24/7 while consuming contect that shaped their perception of reality at the time in a very overly exaggerated way using specific design language and aesthetics

I NOTICED THE SAME THING

I mean, I am reaallly nostalgic for my early childhood as well, but personally I have a good reason for that.

For the remaining 80% of nostalgics, its probably what you pointed out, we are the last generation that grew up without phones, offline yk
