Not really. I watch this interesting Komi YouTuber (Генрих Немчинов) and based off what i see in his videos they're not at all russified. Although perhaps that's because his videos are based in little villages rather than big cities like syktyvkar, I'm sure in syktyvkar they are russified

I think a lot of Komi people just put down "Russian" as their nationality on the census without actually being Russian. I can't see how Komi republic would be majority Russian based off history, there's never been significant migrations there besides USSR times when they'd send people to gulags in the far north (vorkuta, inta)

Fair enough and that makes sense. It says according to the last census it’s 65 percent Russian 23 percent Komi and the rest Kazakh and Ukrainian

Chuvash as a whole don't look Russian, foreign news agencies tend to try and conform to their stereotype of what Russian ethnicities *should* look like so they tend to pick out people with specific pheno for their photoshoots. Looking up "Чувашская девушка" u will get very different looking results than you would get from looking up "Chuvash girl"
Same goes for Udmurts.
When u look up udmurt girl in English it's a bunch of gingers (jfl), whereas when u look up udmurt girl in Russian it's actually what udmurt girls look like

u have to keep in mind that "looking" tunisian and moroccan is possible without having any tunisian or moroccan ancestry. Looking a certain way is due to bones, development, etc

From my perspective they don't. Russian have larger eyes with a lot of UEE, whereas Udmurts as u can see from pics have very little UEE. Russians have wider mouth and palate, narrower chin and zygos. Russians have thicker and darker eyebrows in general, also significantly lighter eyes.
