Also I thought curry tax wouldn't be that bad if a 5'5" bengali managed to date decent white women. So I thought it couldn't be that bad. But ffs. I stick out like a sore thumb amongst groups of white people. Also, very different culture and upbringing so it makes things worse.

I don't have a noticeable pakistani accent. I just don't sound like a local but I don't have an australian or american or whatever. If you know what I mean? I was born in the UK and moved out in 05. I had a british accent when I left and lost it after interacting with locals in my home country.
