exactly I thought the same, a more robust version of Brando

I’d probably slightly prefer to look like Brando when comparing at their primes, but Reynolds aged much much better

first movie I saw him in was Boogie Nights, he looked great - 99.999 percentile for someone in their 60s

MY favorite movies always change so hard to tell

I like various movies, from Bond series, to Aliens, Copolla movies, Agatha Christie movies etc..
With Brando i like apocalypse now but he only appears at last 30 minutes of the movie

Tv shows mogs movies hard nowadays, golden time of movies were far ago

MY favorite movie genre is NOIR movies, it has dark tense atmosphere, mostly at night, troubled antihero as main character, femma fatale, and no romantic bullshit around
Bogard Humprey was good at that movies, and his wife LAuren Bacall was best looking female of all time by far
Modern noir example might be L.A confidental
Old school noir is for example Chinatown
Also fanatic for historical movies and sometime trashy flicks gulty pleasure like saw series

Legit on Coppola - Apocalypse Now is fucking great - i love those kind of “Heart of Darkness”/descent into madness structured kind of films

Didn’t Brando show up like 50 pounds overweight with a shaved head and improvised his own lines? And still he was amazing, legend tbh there will never be another Brando

only film with Humphrey Bogard I’ve seen is Casablanca, which is a timeless movie ngl - he had an aura to him even without conventional good looks, which doesnt rlly exist anymore

Some of my favs would probably be Eyes Wide Shut, Memento, the original Blade Runner, There Will Be Blood

I agree film is pretty dead now, can’t stand the Marvel movies that are just engineered by 70 year old execs to print as much money as possible, but 2019 was good year for film overall
