Girls don't get luckier with that.
It's just that women view men much more harshly on looks. Then the other way around.
Women see (and men copy and feel this also, that women see them as such):
* 70% of man as below average/ugly.
* 10% of men average. And
* 20% as attractive
So guys that are irl 1 - 7 (out of 10), are deemed ugly/unnattractive. A 6.5/10 man, is below average ugly in her eyes. While indecile, he's actually above average to a significant extend.
Men see women more evenly, on an attrctive scale. And men adjust for location/society also.
So men see women as:
* 25% as ugly;
* 25% as below average but doable( depending on the guy his looks/options)
* 25% as average range and by most totally doable or statifying level
* 25 % as above average attractive.
