Alice Coffin
Alice Coffin, born April 29, 1978 in Toulouse, is a feminist and LGBT journalist and activist, co-founder of the European Lesbian Conference and of the Association of LGBT Journalists (AJP). She has been elected ecologist to the Paris Council since 2020.
At the start of the 2020 school year, Alice Coffin is publishing Le Génie lesbien. The book creates a controversy, especially for one of its radical positions: a personal approach to no longer read, watch or listen to works created by men.
Pauline Harmange
Pauline Harmange is a French writer and feminist. It was the subject of international media coverage after its 450-copy essay Moi les hommes, je les déteste (2020) (The men, I hate them) sold out a few days after its release, while a representative of the ministry of Equality between women and men proposed to ban the sale of the book.
In this 96-page book, Pauline Harmange defends misandry, which she considers harmless (because it has never killed anyone) and legitimate, in reaction to the misogyny that is at the origin of systemic violences.
