Gymmaxxed for 2.5 months
How can i improve?

Since no one is giving any genuine advice, I guess I'll go for it.

You could lose a little bit more fat in the mid-section to get your abs more defined. Since you lose fat overall and not just in one specific area, if you focus on losing fat in your abs, you will likely lose fat everywhere else. That means more muscle definition in arms too, and losing fat in the face area, and potentially giving you hollow cheeks.

Keep doing ab workouts with resistance, and do a lot of cardio. Also don't eat any sugar and drink only water. Water is the biggest fat burner consumption-wise. Drink at least a liter a day minimum. You consume sugar and your abs won't look the same. cut down on salt and carbs, but not too much. Focus on fruits/veggies and lean meat protein.

Sleep 8+ hours daily too. You burn more calories sleeping than you do sitting in front of your computer browsing looksmax posts.

Do this for 2 months and take before and after pics. If you do this right and with dedication I guarantee you you will look better. I did this regiment for a bit and in 2 months I actually found slight definition in my abs. Granted, I have a junk food addiction but I kept up the workouts and the water.

Hope this helps.

dyel = do you even lift. it originates from the /fit/ board on 4chan and is used to describe users who aren't built enough to be considered 'fit' by their standard. don't worry about it too much though, you're a user on this forum so you already know the standards here are through the ceiling. you have a decent body but you still got a long way to go.

Not really. When you gain muscle you will gain fat. That's just nature. It is what it is.

However, you can control how much fat you gain.

Again, like I said earlier, water is the best fat killer. Drink lots of it.

Sugar is the best fat producer. Avoid it at all costs. No junk food, chips, etc. Do NOT consume fruit juices. If you look at the ingredients, it's mostly sugar. Even almond milk is like that. Just avoid that shit. It's all marketing lies.

Protein is your best friend. Eat plenty of it. I would go with fish since Omega-3 Fats are something that will always help you and never hurt you, but chicken isn't bad either. I don't like red meat (beef/pork) when gaining simply because of what it does to your blood vessels over time, and if you want to gain muscles more quickly, you want to increase bloodflow efficiency, hence avoiding red meat is probably better.

If you're gaining weight, eat carbs too, but be careful, because your body will store extra carbs as fat. Speaking of carbs, eat whole grains. It has much more nutrients. Brown rice and black beans as well. Consume those. Avoid white rice and noodles. They are just plain carbs with no nutritional value.

Fruits and vegetables. They contain a crap ton of fibers and vitamins you need to be healthy. Strawberries have antioxidants that help your heart and blood vessels. Apples will keep you healthy overall. But my go to veggie is celery. It's zero calories and mostly water. In fact, ppl argue it's a calorie negative, because it takes calories to burn it in your stomach than it does to consume it because of its thick fibers strings.

I would do some more time gaining (2 more months since you're 4.5 months in) and then a month of fat burning (which is basically what I said above but cut the carbs down even more).

Hope that helps.

As long as you have muscles in your face you won't look like a cancer patient. Cancer patients have zero bf and zero muscle. As long as you're lifting then you won't be cancermaxxing. Trust me. I tried cancermaxxing to lose my fat and I just ended up...still being fat.

"Fat" meaning skinny fat. I'm not a landwhale. I'm 125, but at 5'1 and I do have somewhat of a beer belly.
