This is an improvement, form your old hair style. I think it looks better.

I would keep it.
But I would make 1 change to it:
* I would keep a little bit (ow maybe alot) longer hairon the part of the upper head, where the hairline starts. To aim to create, a more blocked shape.
This spot;

Talking about hair. You look better with the scruff then clean shaven at the moment. Likely a heavy (2 week) stubble might even look better. Worth to try out. (style, groom, and make good lines with the (heavy) stubble). Most guys look bad, as in sloppy unkept with a stubble, because the stubble is not managed. One needs the manage the hair lines on stiblles also. And then it can look very well groomed and not sloppy or dirty at all, but stylish alot

thanks. I think I look better with longer hair on top and just a trim rather than a crew cut.
