Yes, and they're struggling to come to terms with it. Although not all AI is able to emulate the absolute best pieces of art. It's undergoing exponential improvements and can already make art better than most hobby artists. Within a fraction of the time but more importantly for little to no cost.

Which clients will purposefully spend their resources getting designs from a human artist when they require more time and money, for the same or inferior product? Businesses will just cut out the middle-man, which is the digital artist.


They will no longer be able to commercialize this profession of theirs, which is in all honesty a luxury.
Making art for a living used to be reserved for those servicing kings. They'll just have to come to terms with their new normal and move along just like all those other professions have had to.

True, but we are 5+ years away from AI art actually being good and AI actually understanding what needs to be done. Superheros in the op look realistic, but the design is shit.

I suggest you check out some of the Dall-E2 art, something that's already been commercially available for months now. If you give it the correct prompt, it can showcase amazing results.

These results become even more incredible once you realize just how terrible AI art was just a mere two years ago.

These things improve exponentially, we're realistically (if not already there) just months away from AI being able to emulate the absolute best of the best. I don't know exactly which AI OP used and/or which prompts but I do know you can get a lot better results- right now.
