Skin care

I looked into different skin care guides here and outside and made a routine, I have a routine that I'm using rn but it's very simple (cleanse, moisturize, sunscreen)
it works but it doesn't really fix the problems that's in the picture. I mostly followed the "skin care guide" which has a whole document about it.

lmk if I can improve it and offer alternatives that's better suited for the problem that I mentioned in the pic. Also, I tried cleansing twice a day and it irritated my skin (I was using the same cleanser in the morning and evening) I haven't tried double cleansing because of that experience and in fear of damaging my skin barrier again.

how tf is this simple if youve had to create a whole schedule. just scrub your face with water theory and avoid junk
That would not work since you must have a cleanser due to the air pollution

my skin care routine RN is literally cleanser > moisturizer > sunscreen that's it. the picture above is what I'm planning to do but I came here to get advice

by "fix your gut" are you saying to fix my diet and eat whole foods instead of processed shit?
Well what I think is the perfect diet is pretty controversial
I'm raw carnivore, it works for me.
But if you just avoid processed shit you should be alright when it comes to your skin

been on it for like 25 days, first 14 were 20 mg, but after that its been 40 mg
Ah ive been on it for 80 days, 20mg for the first 2 weeks then 40mg daily.
The first 60 days just made my acne much worse but now its becoming better rapidly
My derm says ill need to be on for 6 months total but i got 6 months of accutane without a prescription so i might use if needed

thank you, I'm not a big fan of the idea of eating stuff raw but I'll heed your advice on not eating processed slop

Tretinoin/tazarotene or accutane+cleanser+moisturiser and good diet thats it
where can i get those cuz as far as i know they're prescription only

Feel like mine is pretty much the same, and maybe even a little bit better cuz i dont get alot of new breakouts, but the dry skin is crazy.

I don't understand how that could actually be good long term. Your body has adapted to eating an omnivore diet over the span of millions of years. Don't you think there's gonna be any problems just switching to carnivore?

all this bullshit just to get mogged by isotretinoin and dutasteride

my rating is that your skincare is incredibly mid.

im thinking of scrapping all of this and just hopping on Accutane +cleanser and moisturizer

I have sebaceous filaments in my nose that looks like black heads but they arent
I have a breakout on my chin rn (its mild but like they keep popping up)

almost perfect, just implement gooning as well for even better skin.

Wow this Is way too much.

Let's start from the beginning, what is your goal with skincare? Acne? Anti ageing? Skin whitening?

Ok I read your important problems sheet. You mention scarring and hyperpigmentation as well as some active acne. I would need to see a photo of your face to give better advice- pm if you want that (I am a med student).

Based on current info I recommend this:
- Tazarotene 0.1% . Stronfest retinoid, more effective than any other topical retinoid for comodonel acne, and more effective than tretinoin to synthesis collagen(helps atrophic scars) and reverse hyperpigmentation and sun damage.
Start initially using it 2x a week for the first 2 weeks, then every other day for a month, then every day.

- Azelaic acid 15% this will help hyperpigmentation and is antibacterial, works very well to prevent and treat emergency cysts.

Use whatever sunscreen and mosteriruser you prefer.

Only use micellar water cleansers.

Dark under eyes are caused by lack of fat, you can't really treat that with skin care. You need fillers or a fat transplant. You can try use caffeine & vit c if you really want but it probably won't work. Don't use taxarotene or azelaic acid around the eyes.

How severe is your acne? Based on these guidelines, it would be easier to send a photo in pms.

I forgot to ask yesterday but when and how frequently should I use azelaic acid? also, should I use tazarotene and azelaic at the same time or should I space them out?

AHAHAHAHA JFLING AT THIS SHIT

ok look imma be nicice and let you in on something:

Most of the OTC shit is completely useless and only a moneygrab.

the only thing on that list that works is sunscreen and minoxidil
