i fear however that after years of consistent bullying for my looks, i am forever scarred from any form of intimate romantic relationship and attempting to engage in it, and thus i must achieve a level at which i do not have to try at all to remedy this

Funny your in a similar ish situation I was and kind of still am. Used to be subhuman and obese as a young teen now in my late teens completely changed and don’t know how to cope with it. I don’t look in the mirror etc either. However just gotta try forget about it for the time being. I find dating or meeting girls much easier outside of my social circles because I feel like some of them still remember what I used to be like

However what matters is your current state and that’s definitely not worth being bullied over literally way above average face with height halo you’ll be all good.
